Missing your rowing experience from this past spring? Here’s a chance to get back on the water with our Sculling Camp this summer! As restrictions are gradually being lifted in our region of NY state and with careful guidance from USRowing, we are moving forward with conducting our Summer Sculling Camp with some new protocols. These summer sessions will not be ‘Learn to Scull’ programs but rather a Sculling Camp for our ‘experienced’ scullers only.

Sculling introduces sweep rowers to the skills and fun of rowing in smaller boats while managing two oars to propel the boat. Participants will practice boat and oar handling techniques in small-group sessions. We will be using the tubby singles rented from GWC. Types of sculling boats/ events in a rowing season include a single 1x, a double 2x or a quad 4x. Current rowers need to have previous sculling program experience in order to participate.

There will be a Mandatory Participant & Family Zoom Meeting on Thursday, July 2nd at 7pm to go over protocols. (A meeting will be scheduled in August for those participants.)

After submission, please print and complete the following forms and bring to the first day of your session.

  1. Mercy Crew Emergency Medical Consent Form   – ALL PARTICIPANTS
  2. Mercy Crew COVID-19 Waiver – ALL PARTICIPANTS
  3. Mercy Crew Policies & Procedures During the COVID-19 Pandemic – For Your Reference
