Fall 2019 Season Registration

TO COMPLETE MERCY CREW REGISTRATION for the FALL 2019 SEASON:

  1. Submit the following to the School Nurse’s Office – Due Mon. Aug. 19
  2. Complete Online Registration – Due Fri. Aug. 23
  3. Verify or Complete USRowing Waiver & Register for a Basic Membership – Due Mon. Aug. 26
    • Go to – US Rowing Membership & Waivers
    • All rowers who rowed in the Spring 2019 season will already have valid USRowing waivers. Waivers are valid for one full calendar year, Jan 1 – Dec. 31.
    • Current rowers should, however, verify that their USRowing membership has not expired since the previous season. If so, the current USRowing membership will need to be renewed prior to beginning practices on the water to maintain USRowing insurance coverage.
  4. FOR NEW NOVICE ONLY:  Complete Swim Test – Due Mon. Aug. 26
  5. Complete the following & bring to the Mercy Athletics Fall Parent/Athlete MeetingDue Thurs. Aug 29
  6. Mail Registration Payment to Mercy Crew Treasurer – Due Thurs. Aug. 29
    • As an option, payments can also be turned in at the Mercy Athletics Parent/Athlete Meeting on August 29.

A NOTE ABOUT THE REGISTRATION FEES

Mercy Crew Families,
I hope you have all enjoyed your summer thus far! It is hard to believe we are at the beginning of August and already thinking about Fall registration!

The tuition for Mercy Crew has held steady for the past two years or so at $750 per season.  We have always held true to focusing on and maintaining charging families what it costs to run the team. If you are interested in more details regarding our operational expenses, you can find the breakdown those expenditures on our website here under Budget. With that being said however, the rising rack fees and rent for storage of our fleet will be increasing at GWC and our need to replace or repair boats is becoming imminent. We also strive to maintain competitive compensation with our coaches.

So given the aforementioned increases in our operational expenses, this Fall season you will see a $20 increase in the Mercy Crew season registration fee. This increase was voted upon and approved by the Mercy Crew Board at the August 1, 2019 meeting. The fee will go from $750 per season to $770
.

  3. Health Insurance Information/ Card
  4. Health Information – Injuries/Surgeries & Dates/Allergies/Physical or Dietary Restrictions
  5. Date of Last Tetanus Shot
  6. DOR CASE Training Certificate/ Date of Completion
  7. For Carpool Drivers:
    1. Drivers License/ Insurance Limits
    2. Make/Model/Year of Car & License Plate Number
