Dear Mercy Crew Families,
We hope you are all doing well and staying healthy as we have come to the end of October and our Fall training! In an effort to subsidize the Winter and Spring expenses, the Board would like to begin some fundraising efforts. Despite the cancellation of both our Spring and Fall seasons in 2020, Mercy Crew must still continue to cover several fixed expenses such as boathouse rental fees, boat & equipment loan payments & depreciation, insurance, coaches fees & USRowing fees.
We have decided on the following fundraising options, but really need to have a better understanding of who is willing to participate before we commit to our vendors:
- Sticky Lips BBQ – Mid-November
- Special Touch Bakery Pie Sale – November & December with pre-Christmas delivery
- Buffalo Bills Football Squares – December
Our goal is to ensure Mercy Crew is in a strong financial position as we approach Winter Training and the Spring season! And we truly need your help to do so. It is our hope that ALL active members of both the Fall and Spring seasons of the team will participate in order for the fundraisers to be successful.
Please take a moment to complete and submit a very short survey by no later than Tuesday, November 3rd. Your responses are very important to us. We also encourage you to provide any additional feedback, questions or concerns via the last question on the survey. The Board will be meeting Monday, Nov. 2, so early responses would be most helpful to begin to discuss where we stand and evaluate how to proceed.
We will notify everyone once we have reviewed the results and determined what we are able to move forward with. We appreciate your feedback and thank you in advance for your help to continue to keep Mercy Crew thriving even in these difficult times.
