Thank you ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL for a WONDERFUL weekend in Boston. I loved spending time with all of you.
Head of the Charles is a very competitive and it was a good eye-opening experience for us. The conditions were challenging, and I believe we all learned just what it takes. Remember what Meghan Musnicki talked about when she came–everything we do (failure or success) is an opportunity to become better athletes and people. We just have to continue to be open to it! That goes for EVERYONE on the team. The hard work you are all putting in will show up, but it will take some time and patience. Just keep it up. Its a process–but it is worth it.
Over the next/last few weeks of the season, we are going to spend some time working as a full team again. We are only as strong as our weakest member–so lift up your teammates and yourself. Ask questions–I will answer them (even if you have email them to me; I will respond!).
The Mercy Crew family is amazing and I am honored to be a part of it. Thank you for being so welcoming and wonderful. Huge thank you to the parents and families who traveled, Coach Mark for his help when Coach Emily was racing, and the wonderful rowers and coaches (Coach Ethan and Coach Adrien) who held down the fort at home–we are quite an amazing team.
